📘 Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: August 28, 2025

Bookhelp.ca is an online marketplace connecting customers with independent vendors. By using our platform, you agree that Bookhelp is not liable for vendor performance. Vendors are independent contractors, not employees of Bookhelp. Customers are responsible for choosing vendors, and disputes must be resolved directly between customer and vendor. Bookhelp may assist in communication but is not a party to contracts. Ontario law governs.

🔒 Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 28, 2025

Bookhelp.ca collects personal information (name, email, phone, service requests, vendor details) to operate the marketplace. We also collect automatic data (IP, cookies, analytics). We use this information to provide services, process payments, and improve user experience. Data is not sold. Vendors’ profiles may be public. Customers and vendors may request access or deletion of their data. Data is stored securely under Canadian law (PIPEDA).

🧾 Vendor Agreement

Effective Date: August 28, 2025

Vendors are independent contractors, not employees. Vendors must provide accurate information, maintain licenses, and comply with laws. Vendors set their own pricing and schedules. Bookhelp charges fees as disclosed. Vendors indemnify Bookhelp against claims arising from their services. Disputes with customers must be resolved directly between the parties. Ontario law governs.

👤 Customer Agreement

Effective Date: August 28, 2025

Customers acknowledge vendors are independent providers, not employees of Bookhelp. Contracts are directly between customers and vendors. Payments for vendor services are made to vendors. Bookhelp is not liable for vendor performance. Premium Services may be purchased separately from Bookhelp and provide coordination only. Ontario law governs.

💳 Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: August 28, 2025

Marketplace Services: Payments between customers and vendors are their responsibility. Bookhelp is not liable for refunds.

Premium Services:
– Starter ($199): Refundable if cancelled before vendor options delivered. Non-refundable after delivery.
– Managed (10% project cost, min $399): 50% refundable before vendor scheduling. Non-refundable once coordination begins.
– Elite (12.5% project cost, min $999): 50% refundable if cancelled within 3 business days before inspections. Non-refundable once coordination begins.

Vendor Subscriptions: Vendor onboarding and subscription fees are non-refundable, except as required by law.

Refund requests for Premium Services must be submitted to info@bookhelp.ca within the applicable timeframe. Ontario law governs.
